RCISD (Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development) is the Coordinator of the STEAMCAFT Erasmus+ project!
RCISD is a dynamic company, founded by scientists and Research & Innovation managers. It excels in conducting scientific research, managing projects, and providing coordination and support.
RCISD acts as a bridge between scientific knowledge and managerial skills, creating mechanisms, offering services, and organizing joint activities. It serves as a forum where diverse organizations can collaborate, exchange ideas, and prepare for joint R&D (Research and Development) projects.
With a strong network of 152 partners across 44 countries, including the EU, Danube Region, Eastern Partnership Countries, Central Asia, ASEAN, Japan, Brazil, and the USA, RCISD is a key player in regional and international cooperation. It is dedicated to enhancing support strategies and decision-making practices in strategic international projects.
Through its involvement RCISD is the Coordinator of the STEAMCAFT Erasmus+ project, helping to transform primary education. This project immerses students in renewable energy and smart city development, inspiring young minds and preparing them for the future. Our mission is to educate primary school children about renewable energy and smart city development.

Johannes Kepler University (JKU)
Johannes Kepler University (JKU), located in Linz, Austria, is the largest university in Upper Austria. Since 1966, JKU has become a leading center for science and academics, with a strong international reputation in both basic and applied research. It offers interdisciplinary and hands-on educational programs to meet modern business and societal needs, supported by over 120 professors and 1800 academic staff, and partnerships with over 300 universities in 50+ countries. Ranked among the world’s best young universities, JKU's Department of STEM Education has extensive experience in national and international projects.
In 2014, Dr. Zsolt Lavicza and Prof. Markus Hohenwarter established a STEM Education Research Group at JKU, offering Masters and PhD programs in mathematics, science, and computer science education, with about 40 PhD and 20 Masters students currently enrolled. The group collaborates with over 250 international GeoGebra Institutes and holds regular seminars, conferences, and hosts international visitors to foster research. They focus on creating games to enhance skills like logical and computational thinking, using this experience to contribute engaging content to various projects.
Our team is highly motivated and aligned with the project's ecological and cultural objectives, which we have supported in our research for years.

The Finnish Institute for Educational Research is a multidisciplinary center for educational research, assessment and development, based at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Its vast research experience, wide-ranging fields of study, and multidisciplinary approach - together with a significant body of researchers and publication volume - make FIER a nationally unique and an internationally significant unit of educational research. The Innovative Learning Environments research group focuses particularly on the advancement of children’s and young people’s 21st Century Skills. Our research includes studies on user-driven learning technologies, spaces for learning and wellbeing, innovative teaching and learning practices, STEAM education, digital competencies, technology-enhanced learning, and evaluation and comparison of ICT use in education.
Growing international collaboration and researcher exchanges have characterised the activities of the FIER from its founding up until the present day. Today, the FIER has a network of contacts worldwide and collaborates with the leading research groups and institutions on every continent. The FIER collaborates extensively with the OECD, various EU Agencies and IEA.
Publications are an essential aspect of the FIER’s activities, research process, and research collaboration. During its existence, the FIER has published over a thousand books and serial publications. Current FIER publications comprise three scientific series, research-based books, the Finnish Journal of Education Kasvatus, and the Finnish Journal of University Pedagogy.
